Andrew Whiting has been in the financial sector for 28 years, joining St. James's Place Wealth Management in 1991. The Practice has kept its high level of service for clients under the leadership of Andrew from its inception through advising individual and corporate clients and providing them with tailor-made financial plans, which are reviewed regularly to ensure long-term future prosperity. Andrew specialises in providing high quality personal advice on many aspects of wealth management.
Richard joined the Practice at the start of 2013 as a Law graduate, having worked in pension administration prior to this. He went through the St. James's Place Academy programme whilst para-planning for the Practice, becoming a fully Diploma qualified Adviser in December 2013. Richard was drawn to the Practice because of its emphasis on helping individuals and families in planning to meet their short-, medium- and long-term financial goals, whilst building long-lasting relationships with his clients.
Brett formerly studied business and finance whilst gaining a wide variety of practical experience within an expanding distribution company. In 2001, once gaining the qualifications, he decided to embark on a career in Financial Services obtaining further professional qualifications including a Diploma in Financial Planning. Brett’s ethos is developing strong long-term client relationships built on confidence and trust. This is combined with a tailor-made financial plan designed to suit individual needs whilst providing regular reviews as financial circumstances evolve.
Lorna is the Practice's Office Manager, responsible for the overall office administration and is truly the backbone of the business. She ensures that the business runs smoothly and will often be in touch with clients to ensure they're happy with their portfolio and arranging reviews where necessary. With day-to-day responsibility for managing the organisation, Lorna supports the advisers in the continuous long-lasting relationships with the advisors and their clients.
Jan arranges client reviews and along with managing all of our client communications. Jan is also in charge of marketing meaning she is involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote services and ideas that are offered by the Practice.
As the Practice's trainee Paraplanner, Matt works with the financial advisers to prepare financial statements and support each client’s financial strategy, through carrying out research and analysing each of their products and services held. Once the analysis is complete he then proposes and drafts together a financial report to meet each client’s goals, needs and objectives and supports the ongoing client relationship through maintaining regular system reviews of their personal situation.
Sue is one of the team's administrative assistants responsible for the day-to-day administration and support to all the advisors, ensuring that their clients are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and at the same time helping to create long lasting client/advisor relationships.
Lucy is one of the teams administrative assistants who, on a daily basis, works alongside the advisors to help maintain their long lasting relationships held with clients. Lucy also provides administrative support to the team, focusing mostly to ensure that clients are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.
As the Practice’s Marketing Assistant, Zoe will be involved at all levels of the marketing process. This includes researching, advertising, increasing online interest, organising promotional events, evaluating and analysing success of events and liaising with clients.
Gary has 25 years’ experience working within the capital markets and investment management industry. He has a wealth of experience in a variety of client-focused environments and is proactive in contacting existing and prospective clients with the responsibility for arranging client reviews.
